Prosil is a 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane hydrolyzate ethanolic solution for use as a chemical bonding agent for adhesion processes and pieces made of ceramic, ceromer and laboratory resin and fiberglass posts.
Efficiency: Increases adhesion to different resinous substrates.
Convenience: Application protocol of only 01 minute.
High bonding capability: Promotes an increase of up to 30% in adhesive capability.
Recommendations
Indicated to promote stable chemical union between resins or adhesives containing methacrylic monomers and pieces in ceramic, ceromer, composite resin or fiber glass post.
Commercial Availability
Package contains
• 1 bottle with 4g
Step by step
Application into ceramic prosthesis, ceromers and lab composites
Step 1 of 2
Pieces in ceramic and/or ceromers shall be previously etched with hydrofluoric acid Condac Porcelain (FGM), for the time instructed by the manufacturer, rinsed with abundant water until fully removing the product, and thoroughly dried.
Step 2 of 2
Apply a thin Prosil layer on top of the internal surface of the prosthesis, aided by the disposable applicator Cavibrush (FGM), and wait for 1 minute. Dry the surface with light air jets.
NOTE
After silanizing, the internal surface of the piece shall be bright, ready for final cementation.
Silanizing in fiber glass posts
Step 1 of 2

Step 2 of 2
Apply a thin Prosil layer on the post’s surface with the help of a disposable applicator Cavibrush (FGM) and wait for 1 minute. Dry the surface with light air jets.
