Multipurpose: Can be used on several surfaces such as: amalgam, composite, metal and glass ionomer.
No metal parts on the disk surface: Reducing the risk of damage during the polishing.
Recommendations
Polishing restorative materials with the aid of polishing pastes.
Commercial Availability
Packaging containing
• 24 felt disks (8mm and/or 12mm).
• 1 mandrel.
Step by step
Step 1 of 3
Fit the felt disk on the mandrel through the cavity at the silicone support.
Step 2 of 3
Fit the set (mandrel and felt disk) into the handpiece and apply a small portion of the polishing paste onto the upper face of the disk or directly over the surface to be polished.
Step 3 of 3
Start the procedure using low rotation, low pressure and intermittent moves on the surface to avoid overheating it.
NOTE
For pastes with different grit, use exclusive disks for each type of paste. The use of the same disk will cause failures in finishing as the thicker grit paste will prevail.
